About the school
Hazelcore Aerospace Engineering School Ltd has operated from Edinburgh since 2014, offering short courses for adults who want workshop hours and tutor critique alongside technical theory.
Hazelcore Aerospace Engineering School Ltd was established in 2014 by tutors who had spent earlier careers in light-aircraft maintenance organisations and university teaching labs. The first cohorts met in a leased bay near Lanark Road, focusing on aluminium structures exercises that employers said junior applicants often lacked.
By 2018 the school added a materials bay for composite demonstrations and a dedicated propulsion teaching room with cutaway hardware. Today the registered business still teaches from 428 Lanark Road, Edinburgh, with evening intensives, weekend workshops, and private CAD mentoring.
Courses stay small. Tutors mark exercise pieces in person, check drawings before cutting, and set homework that mirrors the maths you will meet on the next course or in a junior role. We do not award university degrees; we issue certificates of completion that state taught hours and assessed modules.
Teaching staff combine industry secondments with classroom delivery.
